YesVideo® Announces Quick Trim Feature for MemorySafe™

New Feature Enables YesDVD® Customers to Extract and Share Home Movie Highlights

Santa Clara, Calif. – September 21, 2010
YesVideo, the leader in consumer media conversion services, today announced a new quick trim feature for MemorySafe, YesVideo's online archival service for consumer home movie and photo memories. This quick trim feature allows users to easily extract and share favorite moments from their full-length home videos on MemorySafe.

Millions of customers are converting their precious home movies, slides and prints to digital using the YesVideo services. In addition to producing these memories on YesDVD® discs for easy viewing, the company also offers the ability to view it privately online in a service called MemorySafe. With the quick trim feature available now on MemorySafe, users have a simple-to-use editing tool which enables them to extract those favorite scenes from hours and hours of home movie content. To extract a clip, the user only has to set the start and end points while viewing their movie online. The clips can then be shared with the hit of a button via email, on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter or viewed on Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. The full-length video will remain saved on MemorySafe in its previous format.

"We listen closely to the feedback of our customers. The most requested feature has been for the addition of a simple way for consumers to extract memorable moments from their home movies. We are very excited to offer this to them as an online feature," said Greg Ayres, Chief Operating Officer of YesVideo. "Often time consumers overshoot video resulting in hours and hours of footage. With the quick trim feature, families can easily zero in to the most interesting moments in a recorded home movie, clip it and share it."

In addition to the quick trim feature, YesVideo will also be launching a full Memory Editor this fall. Users will also be able to mix video clips from different home movies with photographs and music into one playlist, thus creating highlight reels and custom videos that are fun to publish on DVD or share online.
