DVD Transfer Order Checklist

This checklist is designed to help you experience a smooth digital transfer ordering process.
We encourage you to print this page, follow the checklist while preparing your order.

  • My media is one of the accepted format types.
    (Videotape Formats: VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, DV, Beta, Hi-8, Digital 8, MiniDV, 8mm videotape)
    (Film Reel Formats: 8mm up to 1600ft., Super 8 up to 1600ft. or 16mm up to 3200ft.)
    (Slide Formats: Standard 35mm slides in cardboard or plastic mounting)
    (Photo Print Formats: up to 8" x 12" photo prints)
    (JPEG digital images from: CD/DVD, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, SmartMedia, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card)
  • My media is one of the accepted format types.

  • My media amount is within the capacity of a DVD
    Videotapes Up to two tapes, for a combined time of two hours or less. If two tapes are submitted and the combined footage exceeds two hours, then the videotapes will be split into two individual orders.
    Movie Film Reels 8mm, Super 8 – up to 1,600 feet of footage
    16mm – up to 3,200 feet of film footage
    Slides Up to 500 slides
    Photo Prints Up to 500 photo prints
    Digital Files Videos Only – 90 minutes Photos Only – 540 photos (6 photos per minute) Videos & Photos – Combined footage not exceeding 90 minutes
  • I am including only one media type in my order.
    Video, film, slides and photos cannot be combined in the same order. Please submit them in separate orders.
  • My media does not contain copyright content.
     If the media contains copyright content, please receive permission from owner and include a signed a copyright release form with order. This includes professionally produced wedding and special event videos.
  • I have labeled my media in the order I would like it transferred.
  • (Slides to DVD only) I removed my slides from carousels, trays and sheets.
  • (Slides and Prints to DVD only) I grouped and numbered my slides or prints in bundles of 25-50 and secured each bundle with a rubber band or envelope.
