Upgraded YesDVD Generator Software Provides New Capabilities for Automated, In-Store DVD Transfers

SANTA CLARA, CA--(MARKET WIRE) – Dec 18, 2006 – YesVideo, Inc., the leader in professional digital authoring, today announced the release of the Version 2.5 upgrade of the pioneering YesDVD Generator software solution that enables automated, in-store transfers of home videos to DVD. The upgrade supplements YesDVD's existing product features, adding exciting new additions and value-added functionality to the award-winning YesDVD Generator minilab systems located in 340 select Ritz Camera and Wolf Camera stores nationwide.

With YesDVD Generator Software Version 2.5, consumers can select professionally crafted themes for their YesDVDs with corresponding chapter menu screens and music video highlights. New tracks arranged on play lists have been added to the background music feature to accommodate special occasions and varied music tastes. This expanded selection includes Rock & Roll, Big Band, Country, Smooth Jazz, Winter Holiday, Classical, Baby, Children, Celebration, Tropical Paradise and Wedding Inspirations, and are also available for film, slides and prints sent to YesVideo for centralized DVD production services. Sound clips recorded on digital video memory cards are also now retained as YesDVD audio, allowing consumers to capture both the sights and sounds of personal memories for their YesDVDs while still selecting background music as an option.
The YesDVD smart chapter feature has been upgraded to automatically select 9, 18, 27, 36, 45 or 54 chapters, providing a more customized feature to fit the number of photos or length of footage being converted to the YesDVD. This enhancement is especially useful for orders with short footage that require fewer chapters. The YesDVD Generator can now also accommodate a memory card of any size and create as many YesDVD orders as necessary, making the preservation of high-quality digital photos more efficient than ever.
In-store service technicians will also appreciate new "under-the-hood" upgrades to the YesDVD Generator that allows for editing of the footage after recapturing for precise start and end times, and trimming poor-quality footage. Orders can now also be reprocessed without having to recapture footage if an error is detected during processing.
