What is Digital Scrapbook?
Digital Scrapbook is a special feature of our video/photo to DVD transfer service. This PC software allows easy editing and sharing from the DVD. Digital Scrapbook arrives loaded on the DVD disc, ready to use. It is designed to launch automatically, with no other software or drivers to download or install.

How does Digital Scrapbook help me get the most from my transfer to DVD?
Digital Scrapbook makes it easy to edit and share the video clips and/or photos from your transfer order. With Digital Scrapbook you can capture still snapshots from any frame in your video footage for printing and emailing. You can also build custom Storyboards and add your own captions and music.

Ordering Digital Scrapbook

With which transfer services is Digital Scrapbook available?
Digital Scrapbook is available for video to DVD, film to DVD, slides to DVD and photos to DVD. Digital Scrapbook is not available for transfers to VHS.

Can Digital Scrapbook software be downloaded from a website?
No. Digital Scrapbook is not a standalone software package; it is embedded onto the DVD, designed to edit and share the footage on that disc.

Can I order Digital Scrapbook software separately on a CD-ROM?
No. Digital Scrapbook is not a standalone software package; it is embedded onto the DVD, designed to edit and share the footage on that disc.

Can I add Digital Scrapbook after I've received my finished DVD?
No. Digital Scrapbook is embedded onto the DVD while the disc is being authored. Once the DVD has been processed, Digital Scrapbook cannot be added.

Can I use Digital Scrapbook with other videos on my computer?
No. This feature is not yet supported. However, you can import photos from your computer.

If I order Digital Scrapbook and additional DVD copies, will Digital Scrapbook be included on every DVD disc?
Yes. Digital Scrapbook is included on every disc.

System Requirements

Which software and hardware do I need to run Digital Scrapbook?
A Windows®-based PC (Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista only) with a DVD-ROM drive is required. DVD playback software must also be installed on the PC.

What if my PC does not have DVD playback software?
PCs with DVD-ROM drives are likely to have DVD playback software installed. In case your PC does not have DVD playback software, you can download a trial or purchase one of these playback programs:

Cyberlink PowerDVD
interVideo WinDVD®
Nero Showtime

After you install the playback software, restart the computer and launch Digital Scrapbook again.

Will Digital Scrapbook run on a Macintosh?
Digital Scrapbook will not work on a Mac…but savvy and experienced Mac users can still access movie clips by using third-party Mac applications. These applications convert DVD contents into a file format that can be edited using iMovie or other movie editing software. Click here to download the Mac Guide (PDF).

Getting Started with Digital Scrapbook

How do I launch Digital Scrapbook software?
Insert the DVD disc into the computer's DVD-ROM drive and open My Computer from the Start Menu. Your DVD drive should read YesVideo. Right-click on YesVideo and select AutoPlay. A launcher menu should appear. Click on Digital Scrapbook. Digital Scrapbook will launch with the photos or video clips pre-loaded into the Library.

If my DVD includes Digital Scrapbook can I still view the DVD video on my PC?
Yes. The launcher that appears when you launch Digital Scrapbook will ask you if you want to use Digital Scrapbook or watch your video.
