What is an EasyShip Kit and why should I get it?The EasyShip Kit is the easiest way of getting your precious memories transferred to digital. All you do is pack up your materials in the box we provide and send to us via pre-paid postage. We do the rest including reviewing your materials, giving you an estimate, and then placing your order for you. It's that simple. Here are the steps:

How should I pack up my materials to send to you for Transfer?Packing up your materials is easy to do if you follow these quick steps we've outline in this short video.
Will my original media be returned?Of course! All original media is returned to you after your order has been processed. For film orders, the film is cleaned, spliced and combined onto new 400 ft. reels. Your empty reels will be returned, along with the new 400 ft. reels containing your original footage.
How long will it take to get my materials transferred?The amount of time our technicians take to carefully handle and transfer your materials depends on the amount of materials you send in and their original condition. At YesVideo, we hand clean materials for dust, scratches, repair minor damage and color correct. The level of repair depends on the type of media (tapes, film, photos, slides, and negatives) and the quality of the original materials. There may be cases where we cannot make improvements due to these factors. This process takes time but ensures the highest quality product. Most orders take 10-14 days from the time we receive your materials to the time we ship it back to you.
Should I submit my order at a retail store's photo counter or place my order directly online?We offer both options to make your transfer process easy for you, so go ahead and decide what's most convenient!
If you place your order at your local retail photo counter, a Photo Associate will assist you in preparing your order. The associate will then pack and ship your order to YesVideo. When your order is completed, it will be shipped back to the original store where you will pay and pick up your order. There are no shipping costs when ordering at a retailer. Enter your Zip Code and find your nearest retail store.
If you send your order directly to YesVideo, you can gather your memories and ship them at your most convenient time. You will pay for your order (plus shipping) with a credit card on this website. When your order is completed, it will be shipped back to your home address.
Are you able to transfer adult content?YesVideo is a family-friendly company. For that reason, we don't transfer any adult content on to a DVD.
I have a broken videotape, are you able to repair this?We can repair videotapes if the ribbon is snapped or wrinkled or if the case is broken. When we repair a wrinkled ribbon, the footage in that section will be lost. Charges may apply for these services.

Where will my order be sent for processing?We have two facilities in the United States: YesVideo's headquarters in Santa Clara, CA and our East Coast processing facility in Norcross, GA. We do not send any of your originals to international destinations.
If you choose to order directly online, you will ship your order directly to our Santa Clara, CA facility where all direct online orders are processed.
If you place your order at a retail location, your order is sent for processing at either our East or West coast facility – depending on which location is closest.
I have memories stored in a format that is not listed in the list of media types.
At YesVideo, we continuously strive to improve our media transfer process and increase the types of media we accept. Can they be transferred?
Can I submit a video that was recorded by a professional videographer?We are capable of transferring professionally recorded footage, but we must follow the US Copyright Laws when transferring all professional footage.
If you have a wedding video or a video recorded by a professional, you must obtain their permission for us to transfer the footage. Orders containing copyrighted material which are not accompanied with a signed copyright waiver form will be returned unprocessed. Download a copyright waiver form.
Can I have videotapes or film reels of old movies and television shows that I own
No. We do not offer transfers of copyrighted commercial material.

Will the completed DVD be compatible with my DVD player?Yes. Your newly transferred DVDs will play in almost all standalone DVD players today. The DVDs are also Region Free (Region 0), which will allow them to play on foreign DVD players (DVD-R format).
