YesDVD Transfer Order Checklist
This checklist is designed to help you experience a smooth DVD transfer ordering process.
We encourage you to print this page and bring it with you to the store.
- My media is one of the accepted format types.
(Videotape Formats: VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, DV, Hi-8, Digital 8, MiniDV, 8mm videotape)
(Slide Formats: Standard 35mm slides in cardboard or plastic mounting)
(Photo Print Formats: up to 8" x 12" photo prints)
(JPEG digital images from: CD/DVD, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, SmartMedia, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card)
- I am including only one media type in my order.
Video, film, slides and photos cannot be combined in the same order.
- My media does not contain copyrighted content. If the media contains
copyrighted content but I have permission from the owner of the copyright,
I have signed a copyright release form to include with my order.
This includes professionally produced wedding and special event videos.
- I have labeled my media in viewing order.
- (Slides to DVD only) I removed my slides from carousels, trays and sheets.
- (Slides and Prints to DVD only) I grouped my slides or prints in bundles of
25-50 and secured each bundle with a rubber band or envelope.
- I have filled out an order form or order form bag completely.
If the store has run out of order forms or order bags, download and print one here.
Fill it out completely and submit to the store with your media.
- On the form I have included a title for my DVD.
The title may include up to 35 characters.
- (Film, Slides and Prints to DVD only) On the form I have included my
choice of free background music.
- I have indicated whether or not to add Digital Scrapbook multimedia software
to my transfer order.
- Inside the order form bag I have included a photofinishing envelope from
the store.
The photofinishing envelope must contain the address of the store.
This is especially important for order tracking purposes.
