Digitizing Your Videotapes
Once we receive your videotapes, we inspect and barcode each and every videotape. Your videotapes are then digitally transferred using a production-grade videotape deck. Your footage is digitally captured in an MPEG-2 format and your footage is digitally recorded. We save your footage and store it on our servers in house for your protection. Your footage is then transferred onto a DVD and online to MemorySafe*.

Digitizing Your Movie Film Reels
Once we receive your movie film reels we clean, inspect and barcode each and every reel. Our skilled technicians then splice your film onto 7-inch diameter reels. During this process, they remove blank footage and leader film to ensure smooth playback sequence of your footage. Your movie film is then loaded onto a projector and projected into a condenser box. Your footage is captured using a digital video camera, which sends the image to our server in MPEG-2 format. Our technicians enhance the footage to improve color and lighting and the video is digitally recorded onto a DVD and online to MemorySafe*. One DVD disc holds up to a 1600' of 8mm film or 3200' of 16mm film.

Digitizing Your Slides and Prints
Once we receive your slides and prints, we use compressed air and camel hair brushes to inspect and clean debris from them. Your slides and prints then receive individual barcodes. Our technicians then individually capture the images from your slides using the leading Canon and Nikon processing technology at 4.5-6 Megapixels and 2,000 DPI resolutions. Prints are scanned at 600 DPI resolution. Your images are then edited to improve color and scratches are removed. Our technicians then record your images onto DVDs as a video slideshow, with JPEG image files and store them on MemorySafe*.
Resolution of a Digitally Transferred Video
The resolution of the DVD video is NTSC - 720x480 pixels.
