What do I get with my Home Movie and Photo Transfer order?

Photo Albums

Will my footage be edited or enhanced?

Album scanning includes photo cropping, glare removal and color correction.

Video Transfers will preserve the quality of your video footage as it appears on the tape. Footage will not be enhanced, but for VHS transfers, the digital file will typically be captured at 720x480 (same as MiniDV) which is higher when compared to the estimated VHS resolution of 333x480.

Film Transfers may slightly enhance the footage with more vibrant colors and reduced scratches, dust, and lint from the film surface.

Digital Media to DVD transfers will create a 720x480 resolution slideshow movie.

Photo, Slide, and Negative Transfers will preserve the quality of your original image.

What is the status of my order?

You will receive email notifications once your order arrives at our processing facility and once your order has been shipped. You can also check the status of your order by using our Order Tracking Tool . On this page, you will be asked for your last name and order information. If you have additional questions, please contact Customer Service .

How will I know when my order has completed processing?

You will receive an email once your order is shipped from our processing facility and is on its way back to you.

What if I don’t have my order number and want to track my order?

To use our Order Tracking Tool , you will need your order number, phone number, or email address. If you are unable to find your order using our tool, please contact Customer Service .

What if I need to speak with someone about my order?

If you have any questions about your order, please contact Customer Service . Please note we cannot cancel or adjust orders that have already been placed.

What if I receive my order back, and I’m not happy with it?

If you experience any issues or have questions regarding your order, please contact
Customer Service .

Will my original media be returned?

Your original media and containers will be returned with your completed order.

Note: Movie film will be cleaned and spliced onto new 7-inch plastic reels supplied by YesVideo. Your original reels will be returned empty.

Why was my order returned unprocessed?

If your order was not processed, it might be due to one or more of the following reasons:
  • The content contains copyrighted material
  • The content contains Illegal or obscene material
  • Your media is not in a format we are able to process
  • Your videotape required repair for transfer and we were unable to get in touch with you for permission to proceed
  • The quality of the tape or film was so poor that we could not process it

Do I have the ability to save all my orders to Google Photos?

Yes! All orders can be saved to Google Photos within 60 days of the transfer. To learn how to save your memories to Google Photos, please check out the

What is Digital Copy?

Your media transferred to digital files that can be viewed, shared, and saved. Visit mcloud.yesvideo.com to access your Digital Copy. From there you can order a USB or DVD, download, and or save your Digital Copy to Google Photos.

How do I activate my Digital Copy?

To activate your Digital Copy:
  1. Visit mcloud.yesvideo.com and click the Sign In button
  2. Create/log into your MemoryCloud account using the email address on the pricing label of your completed order.
  3. Enter the Access Code on the pricing label of your completed order to unlock your Digital Copy.
