Slide Transfer

What is the cost to transfer my slides?

What slide formats can be transferred?

We are able to process the following slide formats: 35 mm, Super 35 mm, 35 mm Half Frame, 110, 126, 127, 127 Superslide, and 120/220 Medium; slides must be in plastic or cardboard mounts.

How many slides will fit onto one USB or DVD?

There is no size limit on a USB order. In most cases, your entire order will be transferred to a single USB, but if your order exceeds our USB storage capacity, you will receive additional USBs at no additional charge. We are able to fit approximately 500 slides onto one DVD. We can only provide an estimate because image file sizes depend on the image details as images with more details will result in a larger file size.

What do I get with my Slide Transfer?

Your Slide Transfer includes a Digital Copy with MemoryCloud online access where you have the ability to view, download, and save the transferred video to Google Photos(available for 60 days after your order is processed). You also have the option to add a USB or DVD copy.

USB copies will contain the following:

12-megapixel JPEG image files of each 35 mm slide (smaller slide formats may be scanned at lower megapixels)

DVD copies will contain the following:

Slideshow movie of your images in the sequence requested (each image will be displayed for 7 seconds)
DVD chapters created at natural scene breaks
DVD case with thumbnail images of each chapter
Title, theme, and background music (if selected)
3 music video trailers (1 minute each)
12-megapixel JPEG image files of each 35 mm slide (smaller slide formats may be scanned at lower megapixels)

Will my original slides be returned?

Your original slides will be returned once your order has completed processing.

How do I prepare my slides for processing?

If you would like your slides to appear in a particular order:

Sort your slides in preferred viewing order.
Group your slides into bundles of 50 and secure with rubber bands.
Place each bundle of 50 slides in an envelope or bag.
Number each envelope or bag in numeric order.

If you do not have a preferred sequence:

Place each bundle of 50 slides in an envelope or bag.
